A matched part canteen of George III silver fiddle, thread and shell pattern double struck cutlery, comprising sixty two items, with engraved armorials, Eley & Fearn, London, 1818, together with twelve early 19th century Irish silver handled table knives (Dublin marks and duty mark only) and twelve George IV dessert knives, E&S, Sheffield, 1828/9, weighable silver 161 oz.

12 table forks- There is some very minor wear to the tines on all of the forks with four forks showing more obvious wear. Overall condition is otherwise good, conducive with age and use. Marks clear.
12 dessert forks- Therer is fairly obvious wear to the tines on all of the forks. Overall condition is otherwise good, conducive with age and use. Marks clear.
12 dessert spoons- There is some light surface scratching to the interior of the bowls and one spoon has a couple of minor dings to the bowl. All of the tips are showing signs of wear, conducive with age and use. Some of the armorials are a little tired. Overall condition is otherwise good. Marks clear.
9 table spoons- Some light surface scratching to all the bowl interios and one bowl appears a little out of shape. 4 of the spoons are showing very slight wear to their tips. Again some of the armorials are a little tired. Overall condition is otherwise good, conducive with age and use. Marks clear.
8 teaspoons- Some light surface scratching to the interior of the bowls. One spoon has a nick to the edge of the bowl. The armorials are a little tired on all of the spoons. Overall condition is otherwise good, conducive with age and use. Marks clear.
Soup ladle- Some signs of general use, conducive with age. The armorial is quite tired. Marks clear.
Pr of basting spoons- Some light surface scratching to the interior of the bowls and the armorials are looking a little tired, otherwise in good order, conducive with age and use. Marks clear.
4 sauce ladles- Some light surface scratching to the bowl interiors, otherwise in good order, conducive with age and use. Marks clear.
Sifter spoon- Good condition, conducive with age and use. Marks clear.
Asparagus tongs- The silver loop bar is bent down one side preventing the tongs from working properly, so would need some attention, otherwise good condition, conducive with age and use. Marks clear.
12 table knives- Replaced blades. Al the handles have numerous nicks and dings to coincide with much use and one handle has two quite deep indentations.The armorials differ from the flatware and all are quite tired. All marks visible but some are quite rubbed.
12 dessert knives- The blades are replacements. Some of the handles have a few minor nicks and dings, otherwise in generall good order conducive with age and use. Marks generally clear but with some rubbing.
