Two Chinese embroidered silk hats, late 19th / early 20th century, the first an official's hat with a rock crystal and brass finial, the second embroidered with dragons, phoenixes and flowers, predominantly in blue, yellow and terracotta satin

The hats are probably theatrical, the blue cap with the rock crystal finial has some light staining and wear to the blue brocade and has a three character inscription to the interior, the orange tassels also faded.
Second hat with the antennae like appliques has some unpicked threads to the cresting on a slightly faded salmon pink ground, some general light staining here and there otherwise good condition.
