A late 17th century oak chest, of four long drawers with geometric fronts, on stile feet, W.3ft 7in.

Top is made of six planks and the joins have opened up slightly leaving a bit of a gap between each one, there are general scuffs and marks all over consistent with use, the handles are later replacements, three of the drawers have the lock mechanism missing, base drawer is quite warped and a section of the reeded moulding missing from one edge, there are minor areas of discolouration and other minor repairs to some of the mouldings, generally average.
