A Chinese Kesi rank badge, 19th century, decorated with a white bird amid clouds and emblems of the Eight Immortals, above stylised waves, within metal thread wan link borders, 30 x 27cm, in two halves

The panel is in two pieces where the stitching at the centre has come apart but can be easily re-attached, there is a bit of grubbiness to some of the white areas of the silk and the panel has been lined in blue satin on the opposing side otherwise in good condition.
