A Meissen saucer, c.1730, painted to the centre in enamel colours with scenes of merchants and traders in a harbour scene, within elaborate cartouches in gilt and purple and iron red with a shell gilt border, underglaze blue crossed swords mark and decorator's mark in gilt 5. within concentric gilt and iron red rings to the base, diameter 13cm
