An early 18th century chinoiserie lacquered eight day longcase clock, the 12 inch arched brass dial with silver chapter ring, strike / silent, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, 7ft 6in.

Overall case looks a little rubbed and has certainly seen some redecoration over the years, case is generally sound, the box base has been cut down at some point probably to half its original height, dial dulled with rubbing to the silvering, appears not to have been touched for many years, seconds and strike silent hands are crude later replacements, movement clean and complete, with anchor escapement, pendulum, winding key and two iron weights.
