Please note this a mantel timepice not a clock. The timepiece has been restored and cleaned within the last 20 - 30 years, the movement looks clean although we cannot guarantee how long the movement works for, the case is in mahogany which has been ebonised and the ebonising has worn off in places, the dial looks in good condition as does the gilt brass mask, the front door has some green baize inset to the inside to create a seal however the door is a little sprung and there is a gap when it is in the locked position, the back door is better and a tighter fit although is a little bit loose on the lock, with original pendulum with fine adjustment, comes with a contemporary key which is stamped 3 and two lock keys, the base panel is cut out slightly to allow the pendulum swing and another panel has been applied from underneath, appears to be in good condition.
