Estimate £2,000-3,000

The gilt patinated hat and costume of the figure have some dark spotting to the surface all over, most evident on the legs and arms, there is particularly wear to the gilt patination on the right leg just above the knee and on the right calf, both ivory hands are loose but fit in position well, the right hand is missing the index finger and the left hand is holding a goblet which is made in two parts, the bowl of the goblet is a separate piece which is now loose because a small section of the stem at the join has broken off and is lacking and so requires restoration, the rouge marble base has been broken and expertly restored with repair which has been polished and done in a way to look like the grain of the marble, the two antennae shaped finials on the hat are loose and will remove but look original, the sleeves are finished in a silver patination, the left sleeve appears to have small notch lacking for it possibly where the ivory hand came out originally.
