A George VI Coronation robe and coronet, formerly the property of Basil Mackenzie, 2nd Baron Amulree, in bespoke wood case

There is some slight denting to the brass band on the coronet, and some corrosion to the silver coloured balls on the coronet, otherwise the ermine and the velvet are in good condition, the ivory coloured silk lining to the coronet is a little damp stained and also on the cloak the ivory silk lining is a little damp stained around the inside of the hem, the fitted case also contains a cardboard box for the coronet, the coronet has the makers label for Ede & Ravenscroft By Appointment to the King and Queen, 93 and 94 Chancery Lane, London. The robe also has Ede & Ravenscroft label inscribed with Lord Amulree's name.
